New
Brunswick, N.J. – Parents of babies born at Saint Peter’s University
Hospital are now able to post photos of their newborn (or in the case of multiple
births, their newborns!) on a digital billboard on Route 1 in West Windsor, one
of the busiest stretches of roadway in the United States. The billboard is
easily viewed from either northbound or southbound directions.
Parents will also be able to share the billboard image directly on their
personal Facebook page.
Dubbed
the “Saint Peter’s Delivers!” Facebook app, parents can snap a photo of their
Saint Peter’s baby, edit that photo and automatically create their digital
billboard image, which once finished can be shared right on the user’s Facebook
wall. After approval by Saint Peter’s staff, the image will be uploaded for
display on the digital billboard. Parents will be sent an email containing the
final digital recreation of the banner for
download and additional sharing.
The
Saint Peter’s Delivers! app works on desktop, tablet and mobile devices.
