Saint Peter’s youngest patients ‘Roar’ in video production of Katy Perry song

 

NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. – The Children’s Hospital at Saint Peter’s University Hospital is proud to share its latest video production. This very special music video of the song “Roar” by Katy Perry features patients of the Saint Peter’s Division of Hematology and Oncology, the staff from the division, and the hospital’s Child Life Program team. Pam Cartaya, RN, of Union Township,  and Melissa Vitale, RN, of Highland Lakes, both nurses who take care of children treated by the staff of the Division of Hematology and Oncology, and Kristal Neal, CCLS, of Asbury Park, coordinator of the Child Life Program, helped coordinate the film project.  Staff members who appear in the video include division chief Stanley Calderwood, M.D.  The video was filmed at Saint Peter’s.  Children selected the song.
