Saint Peter’s to highlight breast reconstruction with contest to decorate the “best” bra

Saint Peter’s Healthcare System will mark National Breast Cancer Awareness Month from 3:30 to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 18, with its fourth annual bra decorating contest.

NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. – Saint Peter’s Healthcare System will mark National Breast Cancer Awareness Month from 3:30 to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 18, with its fourth annual bra decorating contest. Competitors must bring decorated bras to the Saint Peter’s Breast Center by Tuesday, Oct. 17.

Breast surgeon Lisa Hopkins, MD, and plastic surgeon Robert Herbstman, MD, will discuss “Body Image after Reconstruction” as part of the afternoon. A question and answer session will follow.  Both the lecture and contest will take place in the CARES 3rd floor conference room, adjacent to the breast center. 

All bras submitted will be on display the day of the event and for the remainder of October.
Contestants must be present to win. The public is invited to participate.
