Pediatric Immunology and Allergy

The Division of Allergy and Immunology at The Children’s Hospital at Saint Peter’s University Hospital is committed to providing compassionate and expert patient care, research, education and advocacy. Comprehensive care is provided to children with allergies or infectious diseases. The pediatric specialists in this division assist in the diagnosis of children with a variety of known or suspected infections as well as immune deficiencies.

Children are commonly referred for an outpatient evaluation of recurrent or prolonged infections, persistent fever, suspected immune deficiency, enlarged lymph nodes, pneumonia, and a wide range of childhood infections.

Leading experts in the field department are involved in the latest research in areas such as neuroimmunology, specifically the role the immune system plays in autism spectrum disorders.
