Podiatry

Doctors of podiatric medicine, commonly called podiatrists, treat the foot, ankle and lower leg. Physicians are trained to diagnose and treat conditions such as hammer toes and sprains.

At Saint Peter’s, conditions of the foot are surgically treated at the CARES Surgicenter, located in the Center for Ambulatory Resources (CARES) or in the main operating room at Saint Peter’s University Hospital.
