As the first hospital in Central New Jersey and the second in the state to earn accreditation for breast cancer services by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), Saint Peters has been a leader in the detection and eradication of cancer for over 40 years. Since 1985, we have received the gold standard of accreditation by the American College of Surgeons’ Commission on Cancer as a Teaching Hospital Cancer Program. Saint Peter’s is the recipient of the 2012 Commission’s Outstanding Achievement Award and our nurses have been recognized by the Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation.
