Anesthesiology

Anesthesiology is the practice of medicine dedicated to the relief of pain and the care of patients before, during and after surgery. The Saint Peter’s staff of anesthesiologists provides services to adults and children. Pediatric anesthesiologists take care of children of all ages from newborn to teenagers and are experienced in treating their special needs. Like pediatric anesthesiologists, they are experienced in different techniques and therapies to best manage a patient’s pain. Saint Peter’s anesthesiologists administer general anesthesia, cardiothoracic anesthesia, pediatric anesthesia, obstetrical anesthesia and anesthesia for pain management.
