To meet the needs of women who have experienced pregnancy loss, the Infant and Perinatal Loss Evaluation Program at Saint Peter’s University Hospital is staffed by experts in the field of maternal fetal medicine, obstetrical medicine, perinatal pathology and reproductive perinatal genetics.
- A history of three or more first-trimester miscarriages
- One or more second-trimester miscarriages
- An unexplained stillbirth known as intrauterine death
- A diagnosis of a maternal autoimmune disease such as lupus
- Erythematosus or antiphospholipid syndrome
