The newly constructed Robert and Joan Campbell Adult Emergency Department is home to the Sharon and John Hajjar, MD Fast-Track, Acute Care and Rapid Treatment and Women’s Health pods. Geriatrics-friendly enhancements such as softer lighting and more comfortable mattresses and healing colors were incorporated into the design of the new ED. During the renovation of the Saint Peter’s Emergency Department – including the Dorothy B. Hersh Pediatric Emergency Department – a redesigned entranceway for ambulances also was constructed.
