Saint Peter's University Hospital’s Research Program strives to promote an environment of research excellence to ensure the conduct of innovative clinical research for the benefit of all. Saint Peter’s is dedicated to ensuring the safety and effectiveness (efficacy) of medications, devices, diagnostic products and treatment regimens intended for human use.
Saint Peter’s Research Program Leadership direct a talented team of Research Nurses, Clinical Research Coordinators, Clinical Research Associates and Research Assistants that support the efforts of over 100 active investigators.
Saint Peter’s engages in research across numerous disciplines including but not limited to Adult Oncology, Anesthesiology, Cardiology, Breast/Surgical Oncology, Medical Genetics & Genomic Medicine, Maternal Fetal Medicine, Ob/Gyn, Adult and Pediatric Infectious Diseases, Pediatric Oncology, Pediatric Neurology, Radiation Oncology and Surgery.
Saint Peter’s operates its own Institutional Review Board (Committee for the Protection of Subjects in Human Research, FWA A00007321) and is on par with commercial IRBs.
