Thank you for your interest in the Saint Peter’s University Hospital Pharmacy Residency Program. The Saint Peter’s Department of Pharmaceutical Services is proud to offer two American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) accredited pharmacy residency programs – a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program and a PGY2 Pediatric Pharmacy Residency Program.
Both programs are designed to provide a broad exposure to patient care in a goal-oriented, interactive teaching environment. Experience and knowledge are developed through learning experiences with highly skilled pharmacy and non-pharmacy preceptors dedicated to patient care and education. Flexibility allows residents to tailor learning experiences to meet their individual interests and career goals. Residents will complete a major project aimed at improving pharmaceutical care within the institution, as well as participate in medication use evaluations and multidisciplinary committees.
