Immigration Status Policy
Dear Patient:Saint Peter’s is committed to the delivery of health care as a basic right of every human being.
Our services are offered to all without exception, extending to every religion, belief, creed, sexual orientation or sexual identity, economic class, country of origin, and immigration status.
Saint Peter’s also believes in and closely guards the personal privacy of all who seek our care.
We will not voluntarily disclose the immigration status of our patients or allow immigration officials on our campus in search of patient information, unless so ordered through legal proceedings. Nor will Saint Peter’s inquire about the immigration status of our patients or seek out that information unless it is necessary for the delivery of care or required through an appropriate legal order.
We value your privacy. And we pledge to protect that privacy within all permissible limits of the law.
Thank you for trusting Saint Peter’s with your healthcare needs.
