Saint Peter’s Breast Center, a service of Saint Peter’s University Hospital, earned its fifth consecutive accreditation from the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC) in 2022, placing the hospital among the nation’s elite in the level of comprehensive, multidisciplinary care and treatment available to breast cancer patients. Saint Peter’s Breast Center was the first breast center in central New Jersey to have earned a full three-year accreditation from the NAPBC, a program of the American College of Surgeons.
Saint Peter’s Breast Center has also been named as one of America’s Best Comprehensive Breast Centers by the 2022 Women’s Choice Award, the only award recognizing excellence in patient services based on robust criteria that considers patient satisfaction and clinical excellence. Saint Peter’s also earned recognition as one of the Best Hospitals for Cancer Care, and Best Hospitals for Women’s Services.
Saint Peter’s Women’s Imaging Center is also a recipient of the 2022 Women’s Choice Award for Best Mammogram Imaging Center and is accredited by the American College of Radiology as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence.
Saint Peter’s also offers the most advanced technology, medications and surgical procedures for a variety of other types of cancer via its comprehensive, full-service Cancer Center. Saint Peter’s Cancer Center is accredited by the American College of Surgeons’ Commission on Cancer as a Teaching Hospital Cancer Program.
