Pregnancy Loss Evaluation Program
To meet the needs of women who have experienced pregnancy loss, the Infant and Perinatal Loss Evaluation Program at Saint Peter’s University Hospital is staffed by experts in the field of Maternal-Fetal Medicine, obstetrical medicine, perinatal pathology and reproductive perinatal genetics.
As a Regional Perinatal Center, our physicians offer the expertise to partner with your referring obstetrician/gynecologist or primary care physician in recommending a treatment plan.
The Infant and Perinatal Loss Evaluation Program may be able to help you if your maternal medical history includes:
- A history of three or more first-trimester miscarriages
- One or more second-trimester miscarriages
- An unexplained stillbirth known as intrauterine death
- A diagnosis of a maternal autoimmune disease such as lupus
- Erythematosus or antiphospholipid syndrome.
