Pediatric Neurosurgery

The team of skilled specialists in the Pediatric Neurosurgery Division at The Children’s Hospital at Saint Peter’s University Hospital cares for children who have a full spectrum of neurological disorders. Patients have access to a wide range of services including an epilepsy monitoring unit, well-equipped intensive care and inpatient units, and comfortable outpatient accommodations for patients and families.

 

We have the most modern technology available for diagnosis and treatment. Our multidisciplinary team of epileptologists, pediatric neurosurgeons, pediatric neurologists, pediatric anesthesiologists, pediatricians, nurse practitioners, social workers, and, electroencephalography (EEG) technologists work with patients with five major groups of disorders: congenital and developmental disorders such as hydrocephalus and craniofacial disorders; brain tumors; head trauma; spasticity and other movement disorders; and epilepsy.
